November Workshop

I'm just popping in to let you know about a workshop I will be hosting on Saturday, November 16th, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Rest is something we, or at least myself specifically, can find hard to make time for. This workshop carves out two hours to be with rest practices together. All the details are below, but please do reach out if you have any questions.

A conscious step away from the busy world around us. Are you looking to slow down, connect inwards and invite rest? Then this might be the workshop for you.

With a backdrop of a beautiful candlelit studio and the warmth of herbal tea upon arrival, I invite you to dive into deep rest together. In this workshop, we will explore different styles of rest and embodied connection to help restore and balance our energy. We will open with a pranayama practice (breathwork) designed to help you downregulate the nervous system. Moving towards restorative postures to help soothe and relax the body. The practice will end with a guided meditation to help you connect inwards to a deeper state of rest.

Restorative yoga is a gentle practice in which supported postures are held for a longer period of time, from 2 to 15m. The class focuses on softness, stillness, and ease throughout, with lots of options to adjust the practice to suit you.

What to expect:

  • Pranayama (breathwork)
  • Restorative Yoga
  • Guided Meditation
  • An eye pillow to take home

Props will be available in the studio, but you are welcome to bring along extra props too! We will also have herbal tea available throughout the practice, and each participant will be given an eye pillow to take home with them.

All levels are welcome.
