This workshop is an invitation to rest deeply, soften around yourself, and receive gentle care without pressure, striving, or performance. In the midst of busy lives and the heightened energy of Valentine’s season, this practice is a pause: a chance to meet your body and breath with kindness, and to cultivate compassion as a felt experience rather than something to achieve.
I’ve designed this space to feel nurturing and inclusive, a place where you can arrive exactly as you are and simply be. Through a combination of slow, supported yin and restorative yoga, guided loving-kindness (Metta) meditation, and a long, grounding Yoga Nidra, we’ll explore what it feels like to rest with compassion for the nervous system, the body, and the inner emotional landscape.
There is no flow to keep up with, no goals to hit, and no intention to set for the year, just time to soften, rest, and be held by your own breath and awareness.
In this workshop you’ll experience:
- Slow, spacious yin and restorative yoga with options and props offered to meet you where you are
- A gentle Metta (loving-kindness) meditation focused on meeting yourself with compassion and care
- An extended Yoga Nidra to support deep rest and nervous system regulation
- A calm, nurturing atmosphere where slowing down is welcomed
- Space to simply rest, soften, and arrive into your body
- A gift bag with some goodies to take home and treat yourself
This workshop is suitable for all levels and especially supportive if you’re craving rest, grounding, and kindness, whether you’re newer to yoga or more experienced.
